Job Title: 2025 Werkstatt Staff

Job Type: Contract for 2025 Market season (November 2025 - December 2025)
Summary:
2025 Werkstatt staff is responsible for creating a safe environment for families to meet German artisans in the Werkstatt hut. Reports to the Cultural Programs Manager.
Essential Werkstatt Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage guests in the Werkstatt in a meaningful way.
- Assist visitors with waiting in line and admitting guests to Werkstatt as needed.
- Introduce artisans to visitors, providing basic cultural and geographic information.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment in the hut before, during, and after closing.
- Help create a magical Christmas atmosphere for all ages.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Enthusiastic about working with the public, friendly, and outgoing.
- Communicate and interact with the public and CCI team members professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to work independently and with a team.
- Basic German to communicate with artisans (desirable, not required).
- Able to spend prolonged time standing in all weather (mostly cold weather).
Time Commitment:
- Must have weekend and evening availability during Market Hours (November 22, 2025 - December 24, 2025), additional shifts are available.
Compensation: $18/Hour
