Volunteer at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt!

The Carmel Christkindlmarkt is a cherished holiday tradition, and we need your help to make it magical! Each year, this festive event brings joy and cheer to our community, and we rely on dedicated volunteers to help make it all happen. Whether you’re a local resident or just visiting, there’s a role for you!

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at the Christkindlmarkt is not just about giving back—it's about being part of something special. You'll have the chance to:

  • Spread Holiday Cheer: Help create a warm, welcoming environment for families and visitors.
  • Meet New People: Connect with fellow volunteers and guests from all over the country and world.
  • Gain Experience: Build skills and experience in a fun, festive setting.

Available Volunteer Roles

  • Greeter: Greet guests and help them navigate the market, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  • Kinderecke and Spielhaus: Engage with children and families in our Kinderecke (Kids Corner) or Spielhaus (Play House), assisting with activities and crafts.
  • Photo Spots: Capture memorable moments by taking photos of families at our iconic holiday photo spots.
  • Special Events: Help with various tasks around the Market for our special events, including setup, takedown, and more.‍‍‍

How to Volunteer:

  1. Sign Up: Fill out our online volunteer registration
  2. Attend Optional Training: November 10, 2024
  3. Enjoy the Festivities: Dive into your role and experience the joy of the Christkindlmarkt firsthand!

‍Volunteer Requirements:

  • Age: Volunteers must be at least 14. Younger volunteers may participate with a parent or guardian during the same shift upon prior approval from the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Commitment: Our shifts are 2-3 hours‍
  • Enthusiasm: A friendly attitude and a passion for the holidays are essential!
