Driving note: There is no southbound traffic on 3rd Avenue SW near the Market. Check the map before you go and allow extra time during busy periods.
While these options do require a short walk, the Monon Trail lit up with holiday lights provides a festive way to get to the Market, and utilizing these garages will save you time rather than trying to find surface parking closer.
The Monon Trail is a paved pedestrian path that can easily lead you to the Market. In November and December, the Monon Trail transforms into a beautiful outdoor walkway of seasonal lights and decorations along the Magnificent Monon Greenway in Carmel, from Carter Green to Main Street.
Prefer a ride to the Market? Park for free at 535 College Drive, Carmel, IN 46032, and take the free shuttle. Drop-off and pick-up are approximately every 15 minutes during Market hours on weekends. The shuttle is also accessible.
Guests may use Uber, Lyft, or other ride-share services to avoid parking. For drop-off, have your driver pull up near the Market on 3rd Avenue, preferably near the northwest corner. Please note that this is not an official Market drop-off location and can become very congested, especially on weekends. Another location near the Market may be more convenient.
Accessible parking will be available at the Tarkington Garage at 3rd Avenue SW for those with qualifying tags or license plates.
The free Carmel Holiday Trolley is another festive way to explore downtown and visit other holiday attractions. It is separate from the weekend parking shuttle.
